Aereo’s Platform Solutions team is scouting for a 6-month Software Engineering Internship program (Full time in Office) for enthusiastic candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in geospatial data processing and cloud-based software development. The internship will focus on enhancing the Aereo Cloud platform and improving processing efficiency. 


🎯 Internship Overview 

  • Work on improving AWS batch job processing for better performance. 
  • Contribute to workflow optimization and parallel processing techniques. 
  • Gain experience in API development, system architecture, and cloud computing. 
  • Enhance platform documentation for both developers and end-users. 

 

🛠 Required Skills:


The ideal candidates should have Python programming skills along with a strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and software development. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and cloud-based batch processing is a plus. 

  •  Python – Django, REST API development. 
  • Operating Systems – Process & Threads, File Management. 
  • Networking – TCP/UDP Protocols. 
  • Software Development – Data Structures, Algorithms, Git, SDLC.

Throughout the internship, interns will gain experience working with JIRA, developing APIs, optimizing systems, and architecting workflows for large-scale data processing. By the end of the internship, you will have gained: 

  • Hands-on experience with Django REST API development. 
  • Deep understanding of parallel processing and batch processing in the cloud. 
  • Exposure to system optimization and workflow architecture. 
  • Practical knowledge of version control (Git) and Agile project management (JIRA).
